Symptoms and manifestations of pediatric rhinitis

Pediatric rhinitis includes allergic rhinitis, acute rhinitis and chronic rhinitis. Symptoms and manifestations may vary depending on the type of the disease, and symptoms such as itchy nose, sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion may occur.
1. Allergic rhinitis: generally caused by exposure to allergens, the symptoms are relatively atypical in young children. When the symptoms are more severe, swelling of the lower eyelids may lead to impaired venous return, resulting in dark circles under the eyes of the child; frequent rubbing of the nose can lead to horizontal wrinkles.
2. Acute rhinitis: acute infectious inflammation of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, which is usually caused by bacterial and viral infections. Acute rhinitis will present symptoms such as nasal congestion, watery nasal discharge and sore throat;
3. chronic rhinitis: chronic rhinitis will appear nasal congestion, usually alternating nasal congestion, open mouth breathing, snoring and other symptoms.
