In clinical practice, we can classify diseases into different symptoms, and the disease of lower cervical instability is no exception. There are more symptoms around us, and the symptoms of the disease allow us to detect the disease as early as possible and to determine what stage the disease is in. The clinical manifestations of lower cervical instability vary widely, from mild neck discomfort to radicular radiating pain and even paralysis, depending on the degree of cervical instability, the difference in the size of the sagittal diameter of the spinal canal, the height of the involved vertebral segments, the sagittal diameter of the dural sac and the speed of onset, etc. The clinical features and imaging manifestations differ significantly. In view of this situation, the clinical and imaging characteristics of such patients must be considered comprehensively, and the more common symptoms in clinical practice are described below. 1. Cervical symptoms. The main symptoms are the irritation of the sinus nerve in the neck, with neck discomfort, stiffness, inconvenience and pain, etc. More than 80% of patients feel uncomfortable in any position of the head and neck. 2.Root symptoms. When the unstable vertebral segment causes root canal stenosis when the vertebral segment is displaced, the root symptoms vary in severity due to stimulation or compression of the crestal nerve root. 3. Symptoms of inadequate blood supply to the vertebral artery. It is mainly caused by irritation or compression of the 2nd vertebral artery, which is located in the transverse foramen, when the hook vertebral joint is dislocated due to the displacement of the intervertebral joint. 4.Crestal medullary symptoms. It is mainly caused by irritation or compression of the anterior or anterior central crestal medullary artery (or its branch sulcus artery) by the vertebral body edge after displacement of the vertebral joint. This group of symptoms is less common, but the consequences are serious and should be brought to attention. What are the symptoms of lower cervical instability? The symptoms of this disease are manifested in the neck, radicular, and other symptoms, respectively. These parts are very important to us, so we have to protect ourselves very well. Only after we understand the disease thoroughly can we prevent and treat it.
