Novel coronavirus infection is often characterized by fever, malaise, and dry cough at the beginning, and a few patients have symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and diarrhea; severe cases tend to develop respiratory distress after a week, and severe cases can progress rapidly to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis, and bleeding and clotting dysfunction. In addition, there are some patients who only present with low fever and mild malaise without pneumonia manifestations and mostly recover after one week. According to the analysis of the cases admitted so far, a few patients are in critical condition, while most of them have a good prognosis.
