What are the symptoms of uterine fibroids?

  The uterus is located in the center of the pelvic cavity, inverted pear-shaped, adult women’s uterus weighs 50 g, about 7-8 cm long, 4-5 cm wide and 2-3 cm thick. the upper part of the uterus is wider called the uterine body, the upper part of its bulge is called the uterine fundus, the uterine fundus is flanked by the uterine horns, which are connected to the fallopian tubes. The lower part of the uterus is narrower and cylindrical, called the cervix.  Uterine fibroids mostly occur in middle-aged women, according to the relevant literature, the incidence of women over 35 is 40%, with the improvement of living conditions and food hygiene more and more potential dangers, many diseases tend to younger.  Etiology: 1, related to female hormone levels; 2, estrogen can make the uterine myocytes proliferate and hypertrophy, thicken the muscle layer, and increase the size of the uterus; 3, the content of estrogen receptors in the uterine muscle tissue changes with different estrogen levels during the menstrual cycle; 4, the content of estrogen receptors and estradiol in the uterine fibroid tissue is higher than that of normal uterine muscle tissue.  Classification: According to the location, the fibroids are divided into uterine body fibroids and cervical fibroids; those occurring in the muscular layer are divided into interstitial fibroids (60-70%), subplasma fibroids (20%) and submucosal fibroids (10-15%).  Symptoms: 1. menstrual changes: the most common symptoms are shortened cycles, increased menstrual flow, prolonged periods, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc.; 2. abdominal masses: complaints of abdominal distension, masses found in the middle of the lower abdomen; 3. increased leucorrhea; 4. abdominal pain, lumbago, lower abdominal cramps; 5. compression symptoms: pressure on the bladder, frequent urination, urinary retention, etc.; 6. infertility: the fibroids may distort the fallopian tubes by pressing on them, or distort the uterine cavity, preventing fertility. 6.
