What should I do if I still get “dizzy” after a successful otolith repositioning?

In many patients with otoliths, the vertigo disappears after the repositioning treatment, but the dizziness complaint still remains. How should we treat it? It is generally believed that there are two types of residual dizziness after successful repositioning treatment: one is dizziness associated with a change in position rather than vertigo, and it is considered that a small amount of otolith fragments remain in the semicircular canal, which is not enough to cause nystagmus, but there is slight dizziness. In this case, continued repositioning therapy is recommended. The other manifestation is dizziness, light-headedness, and unsteady walking. This is generally considered to be due to incomplete recovery of otolith function. Rehabilitation is recommended.
