What is the pain and itching in the ear?

Painful and itchy in the ear may be clinically associated with the following diseases. The first one is fungal infection of the external ear canal. Routinely, itching is definitely present in patients with fungal infection, but if the area of fungal infection is larger and deeper, invading the bone inside, painful sensation in the ear may occur, which is not very common clinically and is mainly seen in patients with more serious fungal infection and a longer history of disease. The second type of disease is eczema of the external ear canal with infection. If the ear eczema, generally manifested as itching and yellow water, may be due to the patient’s unhygienic and unclean ear pulling, or low resistance to induce local surface skin breakage, thus inducing the appearance of otitis externa, which can cause painful performance. Clinically, patients are advised to go to the ENT department for detailed examination and treatment in all of the above cases. Because of this condition, both diseases, no matter which one it is, may be more serious and need to be treated as soon as possible.
