What to do when a child falls on the back of the head with a big bag

As children grow up, there will inevitably be bumps and bruises. Not every parent knows how to deal with their child’s injury. So, what should I do if my baby has a big bump on the back of the head? Here’s what to do. 1, check whether there is bleeding in the place of the fall, whether there is a consciousness barrier, whether it is immediately cried out. If the child just cries, it means there is no big deal, if the child has no strength to cry, there may be internal damage. 2, if the injured part of the swelling, you can consider local cold compress within 24 hours after the injury, if the swollen bag is larger or redder, you can first emergency smear some sesame oil, or paste with moist potato slices, with pain relief and bruising auxiliary effect. Remember not to use your hands to rub the impacted parts, and then use hot towels after 24 hours. 3.If there is a wound, pay attention to the cleanliness of the wound. After stopping the bleeding, you can use iodine to disinfect the wound from the inside out, and then wrap it with gauze or breathable tape to avoid infection. 4. If the child only cries and does not turn black or white or other abnormalities, careful observation is still needed for at least 72 hours to make sure that no serious complications are overlooked. If the child continues to cry and is drowsy, it is best to take him/her to the hospital immediately for examination.
