Icari is not a cure for tinea pedis. Tinea pedis generally refers to tinea pedis, which is a superficial skin fungal infection of the foot that is contagious and needs to be treated with antifungal medication under the guidance of a doctor to cure it. Patchouli is not a proprietary Chinese medicine with antifungal effects, so it is not used to treat tinea pedis. In traditional Chinese medicine, Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Shui is an antiscordial agent, which has the function of regulating qi, harmonizing the middle and relieving dampness, and is often used to treat external wind and cold, summer dampness and other internal injuries. In Western medicine, it can also treat gastrointestinal colds, but patchouli has no antifungal effect and therefore cannot treat tinea pedis. Tinea pedis is divided into three types according to clinical manifestations, namely papular blister type, impregnated erosion type, and keratotic hyperplasia type: 1. Papular blister type: The main manifestation is small blisters scattered or distributed in groups on the skin of the foot, often accompanied by itching. You can use antifungal drugs for local application, such as miconazole nitrate cream, compound ketoconazole ointment, terbinafine hydrochloride cream, etc.; 2, impregnated erosion type: toe erosion, skin impregnation whitening, exudate as the main performance, accompanied by itching and odor. If there is obvious exudate need to first wet dressing astringent treatment, wet dressing drugs can be selected ezacrine, potassium permanganate, etc.. After the reduction of exudate, you can choose less irritating antifungal agents to apply; 3, keratosis hyperplasia type: dry, rough, thickened, deepened texture of the skin of the foot, with branched skin flakes off mainly. You can apply keratin exfoliating agents such as vitamin A acid and salicylic acid and seal the package first, and then select antifungal drugs for application afterwards. For stubborn foot odor, oral antifungal drugs can be taken at the same time, and spicy and stimulating foods should be avoided during the medication period. Attention should be paid to the standardized medication treatment in accordance with medical advice, and avoid blind medication. In addition, a humid and warm environment is conducive to the growth of fungi, so you should try to keep your feet and footwear clean and dry, and avoid sharing nail clippers and towels with people who have foot odor. If you sweat a lot, you can use topical miconazole nitrate, which has sweat-absorbing and antibacterial effects, and you can exercise in moderation and eat a balanced diet to improve your physical fitness to prevent fungal infections.
