Causes of Acne on Chin Sideburns

Acne on chin temples may be caused by acne, folliculitis, seborrheic dermatitis, boils and other conditions.
1. Acne: It may be caused by abnormal androgen levels, excessive proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes, poor diet and lifestyle habits, and drug stimulation. It will stimulate the hair follicles and the tissues around the hair follicles to develop inflammatory reactions, which will lead to the appearance of pimples, nodules or pustules.
2. Folliculitis: the typical symptom is the appearance of raised red inflammatory papules on the skin with pustules at the top, which may be yellow pustules or yellowish-white pustules and painful.
3. Seborrheic dermatitis: If it is a small and dense red papule with flushing or erythema, and there is yellowish-white greasy scales on the surface, and there are some itching symptoms, it may be seborrheic dermatitis.
4. Boils: may be caused by Staphylococcus aureus infection, manifested as red swollen nodules on the skin surface, inflammation is deeper and heavier, and there is obvious pain, part of the abscess can be formed, and even burst.
