Are physiological ovarian cysts serious?

Physiologic ovarian cysts are not serious. Physiological ovarian cysts are very small, less than 5 cm in size, with very good sound transmission, and do not affect the patient’s menstruation, health, or reproduction. Physiologic ovarian cysts, in most cases, can subside spontaneously and do not require treatment. Only in rare cases, these cysts may be present for a longer period of time, but because of their small size, they do not rupture or twist and do not cause acute abdominal problems. Physiological ovarian cysts themselves do not have hormonal secretion or inflammatory or tumor media secretion and will not cause damage to the patient’s body, so when the patient is examined for physiological cysts, they are not serious and the patient does not need to worry about them and only needs to have the ultrasound reviewed 1-2 months later or 3 months later, just after menstruation.
