Difference between Ebola and Henipavirus

Ebola virus and Henipavirus have differences in viral structure and morphology, post-infection symptoms and other aspects, as follows.
1. Different structure and morphology: Ebola virus is a filovirus, long filamentous body, single-stranded negative-stranded RNA virus, the shape of the virus is like the ancient Chinese “Ruyi”. Hennipavirus belongs to the family of paramyxoviruses, which is a multi-particle, single-molecule, negative-stranded RNA virus, with viral particles consisting of an envelope and a filamentous capsid.
2. Symptoms of infection are different: Ebola virus infected people are suddenly appear high fever, headache, weakness and muscle pain. And then vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea. Within two weeks after the onset of the disease, there is bleeding inside and outside the body and blood coagulation. The patient finally develops symptoms of bleeding from the mouth and nose, and the patient dies within 24 hours.
Hennipavirus-infected patients initially present with symptoms such as fever and headache, which are followed by neurologic symptoms of acute encephalitis such as dizziness, drowsiness, and confusion. Severe patients may develop encephalitis and seizures and fall into a coma within 1 to 2 days.
3. Different mortality rates: Some studies have shown that the mortality rate among patients with confirmed Ebola virus infection is as high as 88%. The mortality rate in cases of HNV infection is about 40% to 75%.
