Is facial lift surgery in summer not good for recovery? Is it prone to infection?

As the weather gets hotter, some candidates are hesitant to undergo face lift surgery in summer: with high temperature and sweating in summer, is it likely to cause inflammation and wound infection, which is not conducive to surgery recovery? This is a huge misconception. For indoor workers, there is no significant seasonal difference in lift surgery. In addition, there are some additional advantages to having the surgery in summer: 1. The relatively high temperature will promote blood circulation and accelerate metabolism, which will facilitate post-operative swelling, speed up wound healing, and facilitate the softening of the scar, making the surgical marks less obvious compared to other seasons. 2. Summer is rich in fruits and vegetables, which can replenish a large amount of vitamins and minerals, which are beneficial to post-operative wound healing and recovery. Whether infection occurs after surgery is related to individual conditions, sterilization and post-operative care, and is not directly related to hot or cold weather. After the stitches have been removed, the wound is almost healed and there is no need to worry about sweat infection. For those who work outdoors, it is recommended to take time off before stitch removal in case the weather is too cold or too hot to prevent the wound from freezing or being affected by sweat.
