2. 3. Glucocorticosteroids: For severe nodular acne, acne vulgaris, cystic acne in the inflammatory phase and fulminant acne. For severe nodular or cystic acne, intradermal injection of glucocorticosteroids such as triamcinolone acetonide or betamethasone can be used to achieve immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects as prescribed by the doctor, or oral prednisone or triamcinolone can be considered.
