The relationship between tuberculosis and asthma

Tuberculosis and asthma mentioned above are completely different diseases and are not necessarily related to each other. Tuberculosis is a disease formed by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The main clinical symptoms include cough, coughing sputum, chest pain, coughing blood, dyspnea, low fever, weakness, night sweating, and emaciation, etc. The diagnosis can be clarified by sputum check for antacid bacilli, blood sedimentation, PPD test, lung CT and other related examinations, and after clear diagnosis, anti-tuberculosis treatment is required. Asthma is an allergic disease with a genetic predisposition. The main clinical manifestations are sudden onset of dyspnea and extensive dry rales in both lungs during the attack.
