The normal range of S-value on the optometric list for eye examination is -0.25~+0.25, and the normal value of C-value is less than 0.5. The S value on the optometry list indicates the number of degrees of spherical lenses, which can usually represent myopia and myopic refractive value, if the S value is positive, it is mostly used to indicate hyperopia, if the S value is negative, it is mostly considered to be myopia, and the normal range of the S value is generally -0.25~+0.50. The C-value on the optometric list refers to the number of cylindrical lenses, which can be used to indicate the number of refractive error of astigmatism in the eyes, and the C-value on the optometric list is generally less than 0.5 belongs to the normal range. It is recommended that when the examiner conducts an eye examination, if the S value and C value on the checklist are not within the normal range, he/she should consult a doctor in time and choose the appropriate measures for correction or treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
