Blood pressure is high during the day and normal at night

If the blood pressure is higher during the day than at night, it is still considered hypertensive. Blood pressure is highest between 6-10 a.m., and 4-8 p.m., the two highest time periods in 1 day, so it is recommended for patients with hypertension that blood pressure be measured in the morning, just because it is highest at this stage, and can be assessed for the presence of current blood pressure abnormalities. If the increase in blood pressure is predominantly during the day, it is recommended to take antihypertensive medication, which can be taken after waking up in the morning, to better control the blood pressure for 24 hours and to keep the overall blood pressure within the standard range. If necessary, do ambulatory blood pressure monitoring to help better, grasp the pattern of blood pressure fluctuations.
