How to examine colposcopy

Colposcopy, by magnifying the cervix for observation and by acetic acid test and iodine test can diagnose early cervical cancer and precancerous lesions. Cervical cytology ≥ ASC-US should be colposcopic and biopsies should be taken under colposcopy. Colposcopy is performed using the RCI score for colposcopic lesions (white epithelial acetate, abnormal vessels and mustard yellow for iodine test). Biopsy and multiple biopsies are recommended at sites where white acetate epithelium or iodine tests show mustard yellow.
