Colon cancer belongs to the category of “intestinal mushrooms” in traditional Chinese medicine. It can be used for treating symptoms such as fullness or pain in the stomach and abdomen caused by deficiency of spleen and stomach qi, cold and dampness stagnation in the middle jiao, dull belching (reduced diet with hiccups), vomiting and diarrhea. 2. Free San: composed of licorice, angelica, poria, white peony, atractylodes macrocephala, and chaihu, it has the efficacy of relieving liver depression, nourishing blood and strengthening the spleen. It is mainly used for the symptoms of liver depression, blood deficiency and spleen weakness, such as pain in the two sides, headache and dizziness, dry mouth and throat, fatigue (lack of spirit) and low food intake, or menstrual irregularities, breast distension and pain, and stringy and weak pulse. Its adverse effects and contraindications are not clear at present.
3. Tao Hong Si Wu Tang: made from Si Wu Tang with peach kernel and safflower, it nourishes blood and activates blood circulation, treating blood deficiency with blood stasis, which can be seen in women with overdue menstruation, blood with lumps, purple and thick mucus, abdominal pain, etc. The adverse effects and contraindications are not clear. Its adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear at present.
