Last week, for two consecutive days, my department admitted four cases due to liquefied petroleum gas tank leakage, fire caused by burns, one of the cases is even in the burns at the same time due to the explosion of liquefied petroleum gas, resulting in more serious property damage. Combined with the recent high temperature extreme weather in our city, analyzing the above four cases, all because of the high temperature led to rubber hose softening, and the connection with the liquefied petroleum gas tank loosening, leakage of gas, while the patient’s own vigilance is not high, the disposal is not appropriate, which led to the accidental injury of fire, burns and property damage. Here, Dr. Gao reminds all friends to pay attention to the daily life of the liquefied petroleum gas tanks (including natural gas pipelines) to diligently check the rubber hose, strictly in accordance with the requirements of the use of time for replacement, do not take a chance. Especially in the summer high temperature weather, the rubber pipe aging faster, while high temperature to promote its easier to soften, lose fixed role, it is easy to occur gas leakage. Once an accident occurs, it is too late to regret.
