How to relieve pain from a bruised toe from a heavy object

Bruising of the toe by a heavy object may be due to subcutaneous hematoma, fracture and so on. Different treatments such as physical therapy, medication and surgery are needed to relieve pain according to different conditions and causes.
1. Subcutaneous hematoma: Toe smashed by heavy objects can lead to rupture of small blood vessels and blood leakage. Cold compresses in the early stages can constrict blood vessels and reduce the amount of oozing while relieving pain. During the recovery period, hot compresses are recommended to promote local blood circulation and the absorption of bruises.
2. Fracture: If the toe is smashed by a heavy object, which triggers a toe fracture, strict braking is recommended to avoid aggravation of the condition. Follow the doctor’s instructions to use celecoxib and other painkillers, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It is recommended to carry out plaster or support external fixation, if the condition is more serious may also need to carry out surgical internal fixation, etc., to promote the healing of the fracture.
If the toe is bruised by a heavy object, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital for examination and choose the appropriate treatment measures according to the different diagnostic conditions under the advice of the doctor.
