Osteomalacia x-ray

X-ray is the most practical way to check osteophytes. The common X-ray manifestations of osteophytes are as follows: 1. Increased bone density, thickening of bone cortex, and unclear distribution of the boundary between cortex and medulla; 2. Thickening and densification of bone trabeculae, narrowing or even disappearance of the trabecular space, and narrowing of the medullary cavity; 3. Thickening of the bone stem, and the surface of the bone is not smooth. Osteomalacia in different parts of the X-ray manifestation of different morphology, for example, in the vertebral body is often manifested as lip-like hyperplasia, severe bone bridge formation. Joint surface hyperplasia is severe in the form of bone spur formation. Once the osteophytes cause pain, joint movement limitation and other symptoms, need to be timely and regular treatment.
