Can enhanced CT confirm the diagnosis of lung nodules?

Clinically, the nature of lung nodules cannot be confirmed by enhanced CT alone, and the definitive nature of lung nodules can only be diagnosed by pathology.
Enhanced CT can increase the density difference between the lesion and normal tissue through the use of contrast medium, thus showing the lesion more clearly. Enhanced CT has strong advantages in determining the nature and scope of the lesion and the boundary between the lesion and the surrounding tissues, and it is also a very good auxiliary examination before lung cancer surgery. However, enhanced CT of the chest can only assist in determining the nature of the lesion, and cannot confirm the diagnosis.
Diagnosing the nature of lung nodules requires obtaining pathological tissues, which can be done by bronchoscopy, lung puncture biopsy and surgery.
If lung nodules are found, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, improve the examination under the doctor’s guidance, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
