Lung adenocarcinoma liver metastasis is serious

Lung adenocarcinoma with liver metastasis is usually a manifestation of advanced lung cancer with more serious symptoms and poorer prognosis. Lung cancer is a malignant tumor originated from bronchial mucosal epithelium or alveolar epithelium. Lung adenocarcinoma is the most common tissue type of lung cancer, with lower age of onset and mostly peripheral lung cancer, which usually grows slowly and metastasizes relatively late. There are also some patients who have hematogenous metastasis to lung, bone, brain, liver, adrenal gland and other parts of the body at early stage. When liver metastasis occurs, it belongs to stage IV. Besides the symptoms of primary lung lesion, there may be hepatomegaly, increased alkaline phosphatase, glutathione, lactate dehydrogenase or bilirubin. At this time, the treatment is based on the integrated treatment of surgical treatment, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, with the main purpose of relieving symptoms and prolonging life. Patients are still advised to keep a good mindset and take active treatment in order to prolong the survival period.
