How many years does clear cell renal cancer usually metastasize

The time to metastasis in clear cell renal carcinoma is usually difficult to determine, with 20% of the population developing metastasis within 5 years after surgery. The biological characteristics of malignant tumors are invasiveness and metastasis. Early-stage renal cancer may still recur and metastasize after surgery, and recurrence and metastasis often occur within 1 to 2 years after surgery, and most of them occur within 5 years after surgery, with an incidence rate of 20% to 30%; among newly developed renal cancer cases, distant metastasis has already occurred in 20% to 30% of patients at the time of diagnosis. The study claimed that the rate of regional lymph node metastasis of renal cancer was about 6.3%, and the rate of distant metastasis was about 8.9%. Among metastatic kidney cancer patients, the incidence rate of metastatic organs is 48.4% for lung metastasis, 23.2% for bone metastasis, 12.9% for liver metastasis, 5.2% for adrenal gland metastasis , 1.9% for skin metastasis, 1.3% for brain metastasis, and 7.10% for other sites in the order of metastasis, and among them, 11.99% of them are multi-organ metastasis. If there is recurrence and metastasis after kidney cancer surgery, further treatment is needed. Currently, the treatment means include reoperation, ablation, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and so on. It is recommended to go to regular hospitals to evaluate the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to avoid delaying the condition.
