The main causes of weakness during menstruation are: reduced hormone levels, anemia, dietary deficiencies and so on.
1. Reduced hormone levels: the level of estrogen and progesterone in a woman’s body drops rapidly during menstruation, causing the normal metabolic function of the female body tissues to be affected, resulting in symptoms of weakness in the limbs.
2. Anemia: Women who have excessive menstruation may suffer from iron deficiency anemia due to heavy bleeding during menstruation, which decreases the energy of red blood cells to carry oxygen, resulting in ischemia and hypoxia in muscles and other tissues, leading to the occurrence of the above mentioned conditions.
3. Inadequate diet: some women during menstruation will be affected by dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal discomforts and other symptoms, which will affect the normal diet, resulting in insufficient intake of energy and nutrients, hypoglycemia, hypokalemia and other symptoms, leading to weakness of the limbs.
Women with symptoms of weakness during menstruation must seek medical attention in a timely manner and take targeted measures under the guidance of a doctor to avoid adverse effects on their health.
