How to do if a fracture does not heal for six months

If the fracture does not heal for six months, it is recommended to review the photos or even the CT of the fracture to clarify the cause of the non-union. If the fracture does not heal due to sclerosis or even the formation of dead bone, surgical treatment must be given to expose the fracture end, remove the local sclerosis or even the dead bone, and then do bone grafting surgery. If the fracture line is blurred and there is no dead bone formation, but the growth is relatively slow, you can also choose conservative treatment, such as oral medication for bone growth and some physical therapy, to see if it can accelerate the growth of the fracture. If the growth of the fracture is still not promoted, the above surgical treatment must be done.
