How to deal with leg cramps

Stretching and massage are often most effective in the acute phase of leg cramps. When leg cramps occur, you can straighten your knee, lift your toes, stretch the back of your calf, or walk on your heels for a few minutes and do active stretching exercises. Calf cramps can be treated and prevented by stretching exercises. The point of the stretching exercise is to stand one meter away from the wall, hold the wall with your hands forward and straight, and keep your feet off the ground, hold this position for five seconds, then relax for a while and repeat the action. For about five minutes, stretching is most effective when calf cramps occur. In addition, regular stretching exercises can also prevent the occurrence of leg cramps. For better results, it is recommended to perform stretching exercises three times a day, one of which should be done before going to bed. Calcium and magnesium supplements should be applied for treatment under the guidance of a doctor. In case of pain, antipyretic and analgesic drugs, such as fenbendazole, can be applied under medical supervision to reduce the pain sensation.
