Treatment of femoral head necrosis

  Femoral head necrosis is a common orthopaedic disease, the causes of which are usually drugs (hormones), trauma, alcohol consumption, etc. Once affected, it can cause joint pain and joint dysfunction, which eventually progresses to stage 4 aseptic necrosis of the femoral head, femoral head collapse and traumatic arthritis of the hip joint, resulting in loss of joint function. However, for young patients, there is a risk of one to several revisions.  We use 3D navigation + iliac flap transplantation with blood vessels to treat femoral head necrosis, which is a breakthrough in our department’s 10 years of experience in treating femoral head necrosis, and we use our leading method in China to treat Ficat stage 2 and 3 femoral head necrosis with less destruction of blood supply and precise navigation to completely remove the lesions in the necrotic area.
