Tai Chong point is located on the dorsal side of the foot, in the depression between the first and second metatarsal bones. When taking the point, sit or lie on your back and slowly move your finger along the foot’s thumb and second toe crevice upward until you can feel the artery reflecting in your hand, and under your finger is the Taichong acupoint, or the thumb and second toe crevice toward the dorsum of the foot after the second transverse finger, that is, Taichong acupoint. Taichong acupoint belongs to the Liver meridian of the foot syncope, and is mainly used for treating headache, dizziness, eye redness and swelling pain, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, enuresis, pediatric convulsions (pediatric diseases with dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions as the main manifestations), epilepsy, dystocia (pain in the area of the coxae and ribs), vomiting, abdominal distention, jaundice, and impotence paralysis of the lower extremities (lower extremity weakness, numbness, and pain) and other illnesses.
