When infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, it depends mainly on whether or not the disease develops. Some people who are infected with a small amount of Mycobacterium tuberculosis are killed by their own immune system, and this group of people will not develop the disease. If the disease develops after infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, it is a common form of tuberculosis and requires anti-tuberculosis treatment. Tuberculosis is a completely curable disease, and most patients can be cured after regular treatment. The treatment course for tuberculosis is long, at least six months, and may be longer for some people. During the course of treatment, attention should be paid to monitoring adverse drug reactions and regular review at the local hospital or CDC to assess the efficacy of treatment.
