Classification of hypertension drugs

Hypertension drugs are currently divided into five major categories: 1, diuretics; 2, beta-blockers; 3, calcium antagonists; 4, RAAS system inhibitors, including ARB and ACEI drugs; 5, alpha-blockers. All these antihypertensive drugs are currently designated as first-line drugs for hypertension by the World Hypertension Organization. Of course, for domestic China, there are still some old drugs from the past, such as Robitussin, compound antihypertensive tablets, and Beijing antihypertensive 0. These drugs are a combination of older antihypertensive drugs, but at present this drug is still widely used in China, especially at the grassroots level, but for international speaking, at present, these few drugs are not included in the selection of hypertension drugs, so for the international general classification of antihypertensive drugs are five categories: namely beta blockers, angiotensin inhibitors, diuretics, calcium antagonists, alpha-blockers.
