Rehabilitation after foot fracture is more extensive, the most common is postoperative rehabilitation after ankle fracture, including toe pump training, swelling reduction treatment, joint mobility training, muscle strength training and walking training. 1. Early postoperative period: the affected limb is elevated, toe pump exercise, isometric contraction training of muscles around the ankle joint. Cold therapy and semiconductor laser treatment can be used to eliminate swelling and promote wound healing. 2. Postoperative recovery period: active joint mobility training of knee joint and metatarsophalangeal joint, muscle strength training, increase distal muscle strength and proximal stabilizing muscle strength, restore the affected limb to complete mild functional activities. 3. Late stage of rehabilitation: weight-bearing training, gradual weight-bearing training with the assistance of crutches, standing or walking, gradually increasing balance training, walking training and up and down steps training. Foot fracture rehabilitation is recommended under the guidance of a physician or rehabilitation therapist to avoid secondary injury.
