From the point of view of Chinese medicine, nose bleeding is caused by rising liver fire and internal exuberance of deficiency fire. It is commonly caused by inflammation of the nasal mucosa due to upper respiratory tract infection, which causes the capillaries to rupture and bleed; it is also seen when the nasal mucosa lacks moisture and is relatively dry. It is also seen in rare coagulation disorders such as thrombocytopenic purpura, leukemia and other diseases. Blood tests can be done, and if necessary, bone marrow tests can be done. Erythromycin ointment can be applied to the bleeding nasal cavity. Eat a light diet, do not eat spicy and stimulating foods, and treat the cause according to the examination results.
