Clavicle fractures can be categorized into stable and unstable fractures. Mild stable fractures may recover in two months with conservative treatment. In case of unstable fracture, the recovery time of conservative treatment may take 3~6 months, or even delayed healing or no healing. 1. Stable fracture: For children’s green branch fracture or non-displaced stable clavicle fracture, it can be treated conservatively by using 8-word bandage method and triangular scarf suspension method, about 8 weeks, the fracture site scab formation, initial healing of the fracture, and the fracture line is blurred or disappeared. 2. Unstable fracture: for patients with displaced fracture or even damage to the joint surface, most of the patients will be treated with surgical internal fixation with incision and reduction, and the fracture will be basically healed in about three months. If the unstable clavicle fracture is treated conservatively, it is easy for the fracture to be delayed due to displacement, or even non-healing, the specific recovery time needs to be evaluated according to the development of the disease and the treatment program. When the patient is clear that the clavicle fracture, should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment.
