The earlier a woman undergoes pelvic floor muscle repair treatment after childbirth, the better the treatment results will be. Pelvic floor muscle repair treatment can be done three years after childbirth, but the results of the treatment may not be ideal. If a woman chooses to have pelvic floor muscle repair treatment within 42 days – 6 months postpartum, ideal treatment results can be achieved. If she chooses to have pelvic floor muscle repair treatment between 6 months – 18 months postpartum, she can also achieve certain results; and if she chooses to have pelvic floor repair treatment after 3 years, the treatment results are not ideal. It is recommended that women undergo pelvic floor repair in a timely manner after delivery and avoid heavy physical work and increased abdominal pressure, which can help prevent complications such as uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence, thus improving their quality of life.
