What is the exact location and efficacy of the Trap Valley

The exact location of the Shengu acupoint is between the second and third metatarsal bones on the back of the foot, in the proximal depression of the second metatarsophalangeal joint. Its effects are to harmonize the stomach, move water, and regulate qi to relieve pain (relieving pain by unblocking qi).
The metatarsophalangeal joints are the joints that connect the bones of the toes to the back of the foot, and will protrude when the toes are tucked in. When lying on your back or sitting upright, take the acupoint between the second and third metatarsal bones at the depression in front of the lower part of the foot, i.e., the Shenggu acupoint.
Shenggu acupoints are mainly used for treating abnormal fluid metabolism (e.g. edema), facial disorders (e.g. facial paralysis, facial spasms, etc.), spleen and stomach discomforts (e.g. gastric pain, bloating, acid reflux, indigestion, etc.), and foot disorders (e.g. dorsal foot pain, plantar fasciitis, etc.).
It is important to note that needle manipulation in acupuncture must be done by a professional practitioner, and moxibustion should be done under the guidance of a professional practitioner to avoid possible accidents or injuries.
