Duodenal nutritional tube placement, called jejunal nutritional tube placement. Jejunal tube placement is a surgical procedure performed in patients with advanced disease, or in patients who require early gastrointestinal nutrition. Under endoscopy, a guidewire is sent to the distal part of the descending or horizontal segment of the duodenum, and under the guidance of the guidewire, a jejunal tube is sent to the distal part of the duodenum for the purpose of small bowel or enteral nutrition. For patients who have difficulty in eating, or who have serious consumption in the late stage, it can play a better role in nutritional support, and can effectively relieve the patient’s problem of eating and nutritional problems.
