How to treat goose bumps on arms

Goosebumps on the arms, medically known as perifollicular keratosis, is a chronic follicular keratinizing skin disease. The incidence of perifollicular keratosis is high and often begins in childhood, with lesions significantly worsening during puberty and resolving in adulthood. It can usually be treated with general therapy, topical medications, oral medications, and so on.
1. General treatment: avoid using too hot water when bathing, use scrubs during bathing, and moisturizing body lotion after bathing.
2. Topical medication: 0.05% to 0.1% retinoic acid ointment, 3% to 5% salicylic acid ointment, 10% to 20% urea cream or 12% ammonium lactate lotion can be used topically to soften or dissolve the keratin and improve the symptoms.
