Do your homework to see a psychiatrist

Some patients do not do their homework before seeing a psychiatrist, so they should bring their past medical history, tests done, doctors seen, medications taken, and treatment results, so that they are not unclear when they see the doctor, which may affect the subsequent diagnosis and treatment. This is especially true for patients who have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, or OCD and whose treatment has not been effective enough. In some cases, it is not necessary to produce the results of previous diagnosis and treatment until the end of the treatment.
