Can multiple meningiomas be cured?

Multiple meningiomas are mostly difficult to cure completely. Meningiomas are benign tumors that originate in the meninges. Although multiple meningiomas are generally not malignant, the tumors may be scattered, which makes it difficult to remove all of them in one operation, and they are prone to recur after the operation, therefore, multiple meningiomas are often difficult to be cured completely. Clinical symptoms of multiple meningiomas are mainly caused by the occupying effect of meningiomas, which may include dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting, and even loss of limb muscle strength. Smaller meningiomas usually do not cause clinical symptoms. If multiple meningiomas are found, patients are advised to consult the neurosurgery department in time for treatment under the guidance of doctors.
