Dermatoneuritis is generally not self-healing; some patients can recover some or all of their neurological functions after treatment, and some patients have irreversible symptoms of neurological deficits.
Dermatoneuritis may be caused by trauma, mechanical compression, heavy metal poisoning, drug poisoning, nutritional disorders, metabolic disorders, autoimmunity, infection, heredity and other factors, and treatment should be directed at these causes.
