Is there a high incidence of chronic lymphocytic leukemia?

The incidence rate of chronic lymphocytic leukemia is 0.05/100,000 in China, and its incidence rate varies in different countries, with a higher incidence rate in adults in western countries but a lower incidence rate in Asia.

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a kind of proliferative tumor, which is the proliferation of mature B lymphocytes, and is clinically highlighted by the appearance of a large number of clonal B lymphocytes in peripheral blood, bone marrow, spleen and lymph nodes and other lymphoid tissues. Clinical studies have shown that the disease is prevalent in the elderly population and is more common in male patients.

The disease is slow to develop, and at the time of diagnosis, most patients have no conscious symptoms, or may have early symptoms such as malaise, fatigue, low-grade fever, and night sweats. Diagnosis can be confirmed by laboratory tests, including blood and bone marrow tests, immunologic tests, cytogenetic tests, and molecular biology tests.

It is recommended to consult a doctor for examination and treatment if there is any discomfort.
