MRIs have a strong magnetic field, and all magnetic metals cannot be brought in, and metals that do not show magnetism actually cannot be brought in. That’s why technicians, physicians, everyone who enters the MRI room, whether it’s for an exam or not, keys, coins, badges, magnetic cards, cell phones, watches, etc., can’t be brought in. Affecting safety, magnetic things will be thrown inside, sucked in by the magnetic field, sucked in will pass through the magnet and then come back, forming an irregular movement, when it is easy to hurt people, the magnetic card will be demagnetized and can not be used, so these things are strictly prohibited to bring in. Pure gold, pure silver and pure titanium have no problem and can be brought in, but nothing else can be brought in. However, for safety reasons, it is recommended that all metals not be brought in. Pacemakers, insulin pumps, or other syringe pumps are strictly prohibited in the MRI room because pacemakers and pumps can malfunction and even make harmful movements.
