Primary and secondary prevention of cervical cancer

The diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer include prevention, early detection, diagnosis (including early diagnosis) and treatment. Since it is clear that human papillomavirus (HPV) infection can lead to cervical cancer, prevention and treatment of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions are currently carried out worldwide, including primary and secondary prevention.1. Primary prevention: i.e., for adolescent women, timely use of prophylactic HPV vaccine before being infected with HPV to control the occurrence of cervical cancer at source.2. Secondary prevention: i.e., screening for cervical cancer is carried out to asymptomatic or high-risk women who are at risk of cervical cancer. For women who are found to have abnormal results, further examination, diagnosis and treatment are carried out to block the lesions in pre-cancerous or early stage cancer, with the goal of reducing or even eliminating late stage cervical cancer and reducing mortality.
