Treatment of hemorrhoid stools

Patients with recurrent hemorrhoids are also prone to narrowing of the anal opening and can have unformed stools. Common symptoms are having blood on the surface of the stool, or dripping blood after the stool, which in severe cases affects bowel movements and makes defecation difficult. In severe cases of hemorrhoids, surgical treatment is required, which requires a hemorrhoidectomy followed by anti-infection treatment. Mild hemorrhoids are mainly treated conservatively by applying topical Ma Yinglong hemorrhoid suppositories or hemorrhoid cream, provided that the anus is cleaned afterwards. It is also important to maintain hygiene around the anus during treatment and insist on local sitz baths with warm salt water to improve microcirculation and significantly relieve the patient’s local pain and itching symptoms. Pay attention to the regulation of dietary structure and do not eat stimulating and spicy foods.
