Levofloxacin and Roxithromycin can generally be used together but are not recommended to be taken at the same time. It is contraindicated in patients with myasthenia gravis.
Roxithromycin is commonly available in oral formulations such as granules, capsules, and extended-release tablets for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, chlamydia, and mycoplasma. Adverse reactions are common nausea, vomiting, and occasionally rash and itching. Compatibility with ergotamine is contraindicated. Regular testing of liver function is required while taking the drug. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product, erythromycin or other macrolides.
Levofloxacin and Roxithromycin should be used under the guidance of a physician if needed, and should not be taken on its own.
