Dizziness, sneezing and runny nose are symptoms that suggest that the patient may have allergic rhinitis. In addition to the above symptoms, patients with allergic rhinitis may also have itchy nose, runny nose, and unventilated nose. Because the patient’s prolonged nasal congestion may cause the patient to lack oxygen, the patient may experience dizziness. Such patients may have clinical manifestations such as asthma as well as itchy ears and itchy eyes. For the above symptoms, patients are advised to go to ENT department for nasal endoscopy, which can reveal pale and edematous nasal mucosa and large amount of mucous secretions in the nasal cavity, and patients can also be clinically advised to do allergen testing. Clinical treatment can include nasal spray hormone drugs and antihistamine nasal spray, as well as oral anti-allergy drugs, commonly antihistamines and leukotriene receptor antagonists, for symptomatic treatment. Individual patients with particularly severe symptoms may be treated with short-term oral hormones for relief.
