The uterus is an inverted pear shape with a length of about 7 cm, a width of about 5 cm, a thickness of about 3 cm, a cervix length of 2.5-3.0 cm and a cavity volume of about 5 ml. Due to individual differences, some women have a relatively small uterus and some women have a relatively large uterus, and it is important to see whether there are organic lesions and whether menstruation is normal. If the uterus is small, if the menstruation is normal, it usually has no effect and will not affect the conception. However, if the uterus is small, accompanied by menstrual abnormalities such as low menstrual flow, it may affect conception. Generally, estrogen and progesterone supplementation treatment should be given to promote the growth and development of the uterus and the growth of the endometrium, which may improve after treatment. A large uterus can be seen in women’s conception, but the following diseases can also lead to a large uterus: 1. uterine fibroids: most uterine fibroids have no clinical symptoms and are small in size, so they do not need treatment and can be observed on a follow-up basis. After menopause, with the decline of estrogen and progesterone, fibroids will no longer grow and even gradually shrink. If the fibroids are large and have clinical symptoms, such as excessive menstrual flow or even anemia, you need to go to the hospital for treatment. 2. uterine adenosis: it is a common cause of uterine enlargement, generally manifesting as diffuse or restricted thickening of the myometrium and echogenic heterogeneity of the myometrium, often with obvious dysmenorrhea or increased menstrual flow, and is usually treated with drugs or surgery. 3. uterine inflammation: long-term uterine inflammation can lead to cervical hypertrophy. Inflammation can lead to cervical hypertrophy, edema and the formation of cervical polyps, and also cause cervical canal adhesion, stenosis or occlusion, the uterine inflammatory exudate pus accumulation in the uterine cavity, the formation of pus accumulation, need to be treated in a timely manner. If there are no diseases such as fibroids or myometriosis, the simple uterus is a bit larger and usually does not need treatment.
