Is LDL 2.3 normal?

LDL 2.3 is within the normal range, “Chinese Adult Dyslipidemia Prevention and Control Guidelines (2016 Revision)”, the ideal level of LDL-C is <2.6mmol/L, and the appropriate level is <3.4mmol/L, so there is no need to worry too much.
The range of LDL control varies according to different populations, and risk assessment and risk stratification are performed for different patients to set the target value for intervention for modulation therapy.
For patients diagnosed with ASCVD, who are at very high risk, LDL-C should be <1.8mmol/L.
Individuals who meet one of the following conditions are considered high-risk: (1) LDL-C ≥ 4.9 mmol/L, (2) 1.8 mmol/L ≤ LDL-C < 4.9 mmol/L and diabetic patients ≥ 40 years of age, LDL-C should be <2.6 mmol/L. Individuals who do not have the above conditions are at intermediate or low risk, and the LDL-C should be <3.4mmol/L.
