What’s wrong with old dizziness?

  Dizziness is a common functional disorder of the brain and one of the common clinical symptoms. It is a sensation of dizziness, head swelling, light-headedness, shaking in the brain, and blurred vision. Dizziness is different from vertigo, which should be accompanied by balance perception disorder or spatial position perception disorientation, and can feel the peripheral environment or oneself rotating, moving or shaking. Ear lesions: diseases in the ear affect the balance and cause dizziness, such as otoliths and Ménière’s disease, which often manifest as dizziness after acute seizures; 3. Internal diseases: diseases of the internal system, such as hypertension, hypotension, various cardiovascular diseases, anemia, infection, poisoning, hypoglycemia, etc. can lead to a decrease in cerebral blood supply, resulting in symptoms of dizziness 4, cardiac lesions: heart disease, coronary artery disease, etc. resulting in paroxysmal tachycardia, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation and other arrhythmias, can lead to acute cerebral ischemia, manifesting dizziness, blurred vision, stomach discomfort, and 5. Drugs: poisoning by streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, etc. can lead to damage to the auditory nerve resulting in dizziness. In addition to dizziness, patients also suffer from vertigo and sensorineural deafness due to damage to the cochlear nerve. Chronic lead poisoning is mostly manifested as neurasthenia syndrome, with dizziness, headache, insomnia, forgetfulness, fatigue, dreaminess as the main symptoms, and also hypothermia, loss of appetite, etc. 6. mental emotion: anxiety and depression and other mental illnesses often have dizziness and other symptoms when they are manifested in somatization, usually accompanied by panic, headache, insomnia and other somatization symptoms, which should be considered after fully excluding organic lesions.
